1. Write a 400-600 word definition essay about what it means to be an "Others". (The word is a Filipino concept.) Remember that the dominant mode of paragraph development should be definition. Work in pairs. Deadline: On or before Thursday, October 2, 3pm. Either give it to me personally or politely ask the SLA's student assistant to place it on my table.

2. The consultation period for the "I Love You Goodbye" Essay will expire on Thursday, October 2, 3pm. Needless to say, you have to bring your essay with you during your consultation.
